Can you believe the 2015 season begins next week? It's that time of year again! I am very anxious to get the 2015 season started, but my offseason was filled with lots of exciting news!!
First, I have added some new sponsors/partners to the team:
The rest of my off season was filled with rest, spending time with family and friends and gearing up for the 2015 season. I was able to spend Thanksgiving at home with family for a few days, but then I was off to Daytona Beach, FL for my final event of 2014 at LPGA Qualifying School. I posted updates on my social media accounts, but I did end up earning my LPGA Tour Card for 2015!! I was leading through 36 holes and ended up in a tie for 18th at the end of five rounds. Only 20 full status cards are given at Q School, so with seven of us tied for three spots we headed out again for a playoff. I made it through 10 holes of sudden death with three of us left, but lost on the 10th hole. It was such a huge learning experience being under that much pressure and being able to perform probably some of the best golf that I had played all week. I am so excited to still have earned conditional status on the LPGA which means I will just have to wait a few more events until I can get in to a LPGA tournament. I will begin 2015 on the Symetra Tour again and play a full schedule until my status allows me to start playing more LPGA events. Included in my schedule will be various Monday Qualifiers for the LPGA and a US Women's Open Qualifier. I will continue to share my travels this year through this blog so follow along to hear what it will be like to go back and forth between the Symetra Tour and LPGA! I will also add some additional blogs about specific junior golf topics and my experiences as a junior golfer in conjunction with my partnership with College Golf Camps.
Stay tuned and thank you for following!! :-)
Fun memories during the offseason:
